Who does the quality check of the translation and what does it entail?
The proprietor of the business is responsible for quality checking English, French and Spanish translations
and freelance translators are responsible for verifying translations in other target languages. Quality check
involves thorough proof reading, grammatical checks, accent checks, spell checks and HTML code checks.
Translators are given a checklist to ensure that they have fulfilled the criteria.
What is HTML code?
HTML code is a language used for designing and adding text and graphics to websites. It stands for Hypertext Mark-up Language.
How do you know that the translator is credible and has the expertise to produce a good translation?
Web Links and Translations only selects native speakers in the target language with experience in the travel
and tourism field. To ensure their authenticity, reference checks are carried out before they are given the
green light.
What are the source language and the target language?
The source language is the language of your home country and the target language is the language of the translation.
What is the meaning of Localisation?
Localisation is a linguistic process that adapts website and general text for audiences in the target language(s).
This includes formatting dates, prices, currencies, distances according to a specific country / langauge.
For example in the UK and USA, distance is expressed in miles but in France and Spain, it is
expressed in kilometres. This technique is employed in each translation.

How do I get a quotation?
At present, please email for a quotation. You will receive a quotation via email or telephone
call within the same working day until 6pm. A working day is Monday to Friday. Please visit our contact page.
How do you price each project?
Each project is charged by the size of the website.
What methods of payments are accepted?
Payments can be made through Paypal or by cheque.
What time limit is given for payment deadline?
Payment should be made up to 14 days after delivery. An invoice is sent shortly after delivery.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a 20 % non-refundable deposit is required on commencement.
